What is One Person Company (OPC)?
A One Person Company lets a single individual own a company with limited liability. It is registered under the Companies Act, 2013, and needs one director and one nominee who takes over if the owner dies or becomes incapable.
Since 2021, there is no turnover or capital limit for an OPC, and it can be converted into a private or public company at any time. NRIs can also form an OPC.
